If you are here, first of all thank you. Thank you for taking one step closer to helping create awareness around a dangerous and earth shattering opioid epidemic. Our loved ones need our support.

We have created this fund in honor of Evan Powers Thill, Aubrey’s youngest brother who passed away April 22nd, 2023 from an overdose.

We believe Evan's death could have been prevented. It is our hope that continuing to have these hard conversations, to find ways to show our support, raise funds for resources (like Harm Reduction) and find a way to help our loved ones get on a path of recovery.

Aubrey and her family have created The Evan Powers Memorial Fund. This fund will be used in a variety of ways.... To start, the initial fund will be raised to create TWO memorial mini libraries, one in San Diego and the other for his parents in Cloquet, Minnesota. These are about $500 each, and we will get it engraved in Evan's honor. The remaining funds will be towards books to fill these libraries and from there, books to donate to local sober living housing and prisons.

Our goal is to keep this open year round, but really focus on fundraising over two important dates, August 31st - International Overdose Awareness Day and Evan's Birthday May 6th. We will keep you updated here for all updates with where the funds go directly.

Why books? Why a library? Evan was a profound reader. He always had a book in hand. The hard times and the good.. It was something that brought him solace and we believe this a wonderful way to keep his light and legacy alive. Each book donated and each book in the library will have a sticker inside in remberance of our precious Evan.

Thank you for your love and support,

His Family (Parnell, Blythe, Aubrey, Nick, Simon, Kevin)
